Mystery Machine in France
The first photo below is just outside Le Grau du Roi in the south of France. When you see that big (random) metal flamingo, you know you\’re nearly at the steak & chips sarnie shop by the beach!
The second one is in a tiny town called Salin de Giraud. This handy beach shop stocks all your essentials before you head through the salt marshes of the Camargue (and on to the beach!)
Ouch in Europe!
A few pics of our lovely “Ouch” lady - she did us proud.
We had the best holiday visiting 14 Countries and 3 Principalities in just 4 months. Made a lot of friends and received many looks and comments above the oldies in the “hippie” van.
Some of the comments -
“Wow you got out of that van but your old”
“Saw your Aussie flag but expected only young people”
“Saw the van parked last night but didn\’t camp near you as we thought you might be young party goers”
Visited our grandchildren in Switzerland while driving “Ouch” lady and the 5 and 6 year olds just thought Poppy was the best thing in his fun-mobile.
Wicked Jellybean Wedding
Here are a few pictures of our wedding on September 21st 2008. After the wedding my husband and I drove the van to Alton Towers were we stayed at the splash landings hotel and then went into the park for two days. Then we travelled down to thorpe park where we stayed in Staines for two nights. The van was a dream to drive and we got a few stares on the way!
Going to the church in a Wicked Camper was a dream come true, I couldn’t have wished for a better van as my husband had a multi coloured waist coat, and the best men had bright orange, and the page boys had red, and the dads had green, and my brother in yellow, all colours that matched the waistcoat of my husbands. So the Jellybean van just finished it off.
